Cool Items found this weekend!
Yesterday we had Christmas at my Grandpa's house. My sisters, mom, aunt and I had quite the time sifting through some things that had been sitting in the upstairs just waiting for their turn to be used again! :)
Here are some of the things we found:
An old GE fan that still works well!
My grandma's Samsonite luggage with old flight tags left on the handles.
Lots of goodies here! Three frames of my Grandma's, two mint colored pillow cases (never used!), and an old Minnesota tin plate.
A wooden Schell beer box, complete with hinged top.
A yellow bamboo-textured planter.
Stay tuned to see what I do with all the finds :)

13th Photo of Christmas - Felt Trees Tutorial
Aren't these just the cutest little trees??
My sister thought we should make some for Christmas decorations this year. It was a fun little project, but took more time than we thought it would!
First, gather your materials...
Get three foam "trees" from a craft store, different sizes are best together.
You'll need lots of felt circles in whatever colors you choose. We did cream, light green, dark green, and red. You can also do trees all the same color and choose three different ones that coordinate!
Lastly, you'll need a glue gun or LOTS of pins. Pins would definitely save a little time if you choose to go that route!
Glue your first round of circles around the bottom with the tree standing up.
Then, turn it on it's side and glue the felt circles to one another so they don't flap around so much!
Continue up the tree in layers and enjoy your pretty little trees :)

DIY Invitation Ornaments
I have been seeing a few of these ornaments floating around Pinterest lately.
They are so cute and looked so easy to make, my sisters, my mom and I decided to give them a try.
